The Bridgestone Biting Spin 2 Wedge focuses on reliable spin control and consistent contact across various playing conditions. The forged construction is engineered to deliver clear feedback and predictable behavior for short game performance.
The face design incorporates a specific approach to friction management. A specialized sandblasted finish applies a coarse surface texture to improve initial grip on the golf ball at impact. This is paired with a multi-angle milling pattern that integrates both parallel and diagonal lines. The parallel grooves activate on standard square strikes, while the diagonal grooves maintain surface grip when the clubface is opened.
To further stabilize spin in both wet and dry environments, the score line geometry has been updated. The grooves are cut narrower and deeper, allowing the face to accommodate 19 individual lines. This density ensures more edges make contact with the ball during the strike.
Internal mass distribution plays a key role in the flight characteristics of the club. Material is removed from the lower hosel to shift the center of gravity away from the heel and closer to the face center. Additionally, a thicker upper blade profile raises the overall center of gravity. This structural geometry helps optimize launch angles, maximizes spin rates, and limits unwanted draw bias for a more neutral ball flight.
The sole grinds are individually tailored for each loft option. Shaped using direct player feedback, the grinds are crafted to provide smooth turf interaction and clean exit dynamics in real-world scenarios.

Shipping Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
- Delivery times vary depending on your location and selected shipping method at checkout.
- Custom-built club orders may take additional time due to fitting, stock and assembly requirements. Estimated delivery times will be provided during the fitting or order process.
Order Cut-Off Time
- Standard Shipping: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (AEST) on business days will be processed the same day.
- Express Shipping: Orders placed before 2:00 PM (AEST) on business days will be processed the same day.
Orders placed after the cut-off time, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Please note: This applies only to products in stock or once a custom product has arrived from the manufacturer and is ready for fulfilment.
Handling Time
- For items in stock, handling time is typically 1–2 business days.
- For custom or special-order items, handling time will begin once the item has been received from the manufacturer. Estimated timelines provided are based on manufacturer lead times and may vary.
