Final Summary

Description

PI-402 is designed for players of all skill levels, artfully blending contemporary distance with the timeless Miura aesthetic and feel. It features a resilient 3mm Chromoly steel face, hot-rolled for elasticity, and consistent ball speed across the entire face. Coupled with 35g of tungsten, which is strategically positioned low behind the impact zone, the PI-402 delivers effortless launch and supreme stability.

A defining feature is the new KISSAKI SOLE, an advanced camber sole engineered to balance effective bounce through contact. With a maximum sole width of 22mm, it complements a wide range of swing paths and attack angles, enhancing forgiveness on off-center strikes. Drawing from “Kissaki” (切っ先), the precision tip of a Japanese sword, this sole geometry optimizes turf interaction for all swing types.

In comparison to the PI-401, the PI-402 features a more compact face length and increased heel height, yielding a sophisticated, classic look at address not often seen in this category. Every PI-402 is meticulously crafted and impeccably finished, upholding the enduring standard required to bear the Miura logo.

Miura PI-402

Pl-402 is designed for players of all skill levels, artfully blending contemporary distance with the timeless Miura aesthetic and feel. It features a resilient 3mm Chromoly steel face, hot-rolled for elasticity, and consistent ball speed across the entire face. Coupled with 35g of tungsten, which is strategically positioned low behind the impact zone, the PI-401 delivers effortless launch and supreme stability.

A defining feature is the new KISSAKI SOLE, an advanced camber sole engineered to balance effective bounce through contact. With a maximum sole width of 22mm, it complements a wide range of swing paths and attack angles, enhancing forgiveness on off-center strikes. Drawing from "Kissaki" (t)] > ft), the precision tip of a Japanese sword, this sole geometry optimizes turf interaction for all swing types.

In comparison to the PI-401, the Pl-402 features a more compact face length and increased heel height, yielding a sophisticated, classic look at address not often seen in this category. Every Pl-402 is meticulously crafted and impeccably finished, upholding the enduring standard required to bear the Miura logo.

Kissaki Sole

The Miura PI-402 features a specially engineered Kissaki sole, designed to enhance turf interaction and promote smoother, more consistent contact through impact. Its refined sole geometry helps the clubhead glide through the turf efficiently, reducing unwanted digging while supporting clean strikes from a variety of lies.
Inspired by precision Japanese craftsmanship, the Kissaki sole complements the PI-402’s performance-focused design, balancing forgiveness, stability and control. The result is improved playability and consistent contact, giving golfers greater confidence with every swing.

Tungsten Weighting

The Miura PI-402 incorporates strategically positioned tungsten weighting to optimise mass distribution and lower the centre of gravity. This advanced weighting design helps promote a higher launch, improved stability and greater forgiveness on off-centre strikes, supporting more consistent ball speed and distance.
By combining tungsten weighting with Miura’s precision-engineered clubhead design, the PI-402 delivers a refined balance of launch, control and playability. The result is added confidence and dependable performance, complemented by the exceptional feel and craftsmanship synonymous with Miura.

Face Features

The Miura PI-402 features precision-engineered face technology designed to promote consistent ball speed, reliable distance and improved performance across the hitting area. Its carefully developed face geometry supports efficient energy transfer at impact, helping deliver consistent launch and dependable results on both centred and off-centre strikes.
Combined with Miura’s advanced clubhead engineering, the face design balances forgiveness and control while maintaining the solid feel expected from the brand’s renowned craftsmanship. The result is consistent performance and greater confidence with every shot.
