Final Summary

Aretera AO2 Gray Shaft

The Aretera AO2 Gray Wood Shaft is engineered for golfers seeking the lowest launch and lowest spin profile in the AO2 lineup, delivering penetrating ball flight and maximum control under aggressive swing conditions.

Built with premium aerospace-grade carbon fiber and Aretera’s advanced construction techniques, the AO2 Gray features an active handle paired with the firmest mid and tip section in the series. This structure enhances tip stability and torsional resistance to reduce spin and tighten dispersion for players with higher swing speeds or stronger transitions.

Compared to the AO2 Blue and AO2 Black profiles, the Gray provides the most tip stiffness and lowest launch characteristics while maintaining the signature connected feel of the AO2 platform.

As an Authorised Aretera Dealer, every shaft is professionally assembled to your exact specifications for precision performance.

AO2 Gray Technology & Performance

Aretera AO2 Gray is engineered for maximum stability and spin control to produce a flat, penetrating ball flight for stronger players.

  • Lowest launch profile in the AO2 lineup
  • Reduced spin for penetrating ball flight
  • Firmest mid and tip construction for enhanced control
  • Increased torsional resistance for tighter dispersion

The result is a tour-caliber wood shaft built for players who demand a flat trajectory, optimized spin rates, and confidence under full-speed swings.

 ADVANCED ARCHITECTURE

ADVANCED ARCHITECTURE

Alternating layers from the inside out

Most manufacturers follow a similar architecture and steadfast manufacturing process limiting their ability to unlock elevated levels of stability and feel.

In just about every conventional graphite shaft, the term “Bias Core” is commonly used to describe its architecture. The bias, meaning “angled,” plies are grouped and applied at the innermost layers, or “core,” of a graphite shaft - hence the name, “Bias Core.” These plies are responsible for resisting torsional forces or simply put, twisting at impact.
